Most of our June brides and grooms are booked and ready to go. Here’s a quick list of the top 5 all inclusive honeymoon destinations for 2011.
Jamaica is a perennial favorite due to the fact that flights schedules are good, flights are a good value and the island has so many all inclusive honeymoon resorts. We have 43 all inclusive resort options. From the intimate luxury of Sandals Royal Plantation to the 800 room Riu Ocho Rios. Jamaica also has more adults only all inclusives and more couples only all inclusives than any other island. Our 2 most popular honeymoon resorts in Jamaica are Couples Swept Away in Negril and the Sandals Grande Riviera in Ocho Rios. And we also have to remind you that Jamaica is the true Caribbean most of you are looking for, white sand, turquoise waters, lush green hills, waterfalls, reggae, romance, rum, fun…….

Cancun has always been a favorite because of the value. The Cancun international airport welcomes more people every day than some islands receive in a month. If we put Riviera Maya honeymoons with Cancun honeymoons, this honeymoon destination would take over our #1 spot. For both destinations, you fly into the Cancun airport. Cancun is a strip of resorts one after another with tons of restaurants, shopping and nightlife also. The all inclusive Riviera Maya resorts are spread out and destinations to themselves. At your resort, you don’t feel any other resorts are nearby. Excellence Playa Mujeres and Excellence Riviera Cancun are our 2 most popular all inclusive honeymoon resorts in Cancun and the Riviera Maya. If you are concerned about safety in Mexico, Cancun is hundreds of times safer than Atlanta.

St Lucia provides the ultimate experience for your all inclusive honeymoon. The island is like Tahiti, Hawaii, Costa Rica and the Caribbean all in one nice little tiny island package. The Pitons, rainforest, drive-in volcano, sulphur springs and friendly Lucians are a hard destination to compete with. This island is much smaller that our first 2 honeymoon destinations and doesn’t receive close to even half the visitors. St Lucia is not about quantity, but quality. Sandals Grande St Lucian and Sandas La Toc St Lucia are our 2 most popular St Lucia honeymoon resorts. Jade Mountain has also become more popular since the bachelor came to St Lucia.
Many people haven’t heard of Punta Cana and have no idea where it is. Punta Cana is in the Dominican Republic in the same general vicinity with Jamaica and the Cayman Islands. So, you might be asking how this all inclusive honeymoon destination is in our top 5 when no one knows where it is. First, this destination has been popular for a long time with Europeans and Canadians. This destination has a real Spanish influence, so expect as much merengue as reggae. Second, and most importantly, the resorts are BIG, very luxurious and less expensive than any other destination in the Caribbean. The beaches are also beautiful and lined with coconut palms.Excellence Punta Cana and Iberostar Grand Hotel Bavaro are the 2 most popular all inclusive honeymoon resorts in Punta Cana. Both of these resorts are adults only all inclusives.

This is the first year that Aruba has made our top 5 list, mostly because they don’t have many all inclusive resorts. We really never had a resort that we recommended with any confidence until the Riu Palace Aruba came along. This resort is definitely our most popular in Aruba. Aruba is about as close as you can get to guaranteed good weather. The island has great beaches, great shopping, casinos and that’s about it. Because Aruba hardly ever gets rain, you won’t find rainforests, waterfalls or rivers, but the sunny beach is always waiting for you.
