My recent visit to Sandals Grande Ocho Rios gave me some well needed rest and relaxation. My golf game also benefited from the daily golf at Sandals Golf and Country Club (soon to be renamed “Upton Golf and Country Club”). This Sandals Resort is great for Jamaica Honeymoon couples that love to do excursions. You are less than 15 minutes from Dunn’s River Falls, Mystic Mountain and Dolphin Cove. You have to put up with a longer transfer from the airport to the resort, but once you are at the resort, you are close to so many really cool activities. You won’t have such easy access to this many tours from Montego Bay or Negril, so if you want to explore choose an Ocho Rios Honeymoon.

We didn’t do any tours since we golfed every day. Each day was breakfast on our private patio by the pool courtesy of room service. Left for golf at 8am and was back around 1pm. Had lunch. Enjoyed our private patio and pool for awhile, went to the beach or the incredible manor pool for awhile to mingle. Came back and chilled in the villa. Each evening was dinner, entertainment, more mingling and a stroll on the pier. I was amazed while wandering that every bar we came to was so lively and fun. This resort is very spread out and has lots of quiet spots to go along with the fun spots. I wish I was there now.
