The Sandals Resorts Travel Agent Golf Tournament was a blast. The Honeymoons Inc. team, a.k.a., team Red Stripe won the best dressed Award. Have you ever seen such a great looking six pack?

When asked “which is your favorite Sandals Resort”, I always answer “The one that I’m at” or “The last one i’ve been to”. On our most recent trip, my answer was validated. We did a split stay for 7 nights, Sunday to Sunday. We started with 3 nights at Sandals Dunn’s River followed by 4 nights at Sandals Grande Ocho Rios. Monday night Debbie and I had a long conversation about why Sandals Dunn’s River is our favorite. From our room we took the elevator down and everything is compactly centered around the Italian courtyard. Your just steps away from all the restaurants, the pizzeria, the 2 pools, the spa and the best beach in Ocho Rios. We also love all the Italian themed decor.

By Friday, the 6th night on our villa patio at Sandals Grande Ocho Rios, we had a very similar conversation. The manor pool is our favorite. The villas scattered on the hillside are more quaint and you feel like you are in the Garden of Eden. Our personal pool that we shared with our neighbors next door felt like our own, because we never met or saw the other couple. The boardwalk at night is peaceful and the resort is so spread out. You can be right in the middle of activities if you want or find a piece of the resort that you have to yourselves. Sandals Dunn’s River was really nice, but this is our favorite.

So for now if you ask me, My favorite resort is Sandals Grande Ocho Rios.
