Couples Tower Isle was formerly known as Couples Ocho Rios and is now open. The resort opened yesterday April 12th. Couples Resorts just finished a 30 million dollar renovation of the 59 year old resort that originally opened in 1949. Couples Tower Isle was Jamaica’s first all-inclusive Couples Only Resort.

Every area of the resort was renovated to make the resort more contemporary. What has always been the favorite part about this resort with our clients is the Staff. We are happy to report that Couples Resorts has managed to keep most of their valued employees. Several have been at the resort for almost 30 years.

The new name reflects back to the resort’s beginnings as a private island paradise that was called “Tower Isle”. In the 50’s and 60’s Hollywood stars were coming here to hangout. Check out the pictures on the wall in the piano bar.

20 new rooms were added and all have ocean views. All rooms now have a flat screen TV. The main pool was leveled to an even 5 feet and the diving board was turned into a waterfall. A new pool was built and features a Swim-Up bar. We are very happy that they’ve added a brand new wedding gazebo, since this resort has always been very popular for All inclusive Wedding packages in Jamaica.
